Michigan GT lists

Postby tau4eva » Fri Oct 10, 2014 11:54 am

In the last two tournaments with my Circle my record has been 4 wins, 3 losses. Two of the losses were really close though so I feel like I've been doing a lot better. I except high end competition tomorrow at the GT but I feel like I can compete.

My lists.

What are your drops vs these and why?

Cryx

Skorne Fist of Halaak (lots of high armor, wounds), Troll Warder list

Jam list

eHaley

Cygnar gunline

I don't know a ton of how Circle works internally but if you provide some tech I can take a look.

eKruger or Kromac vs Cryx (Druids counter magic, Kromac Bestial spell) will stop a lot of debuff spells
Kromac most likely vs high armor+wounds to try and go for assassination since I always lose to these lists on attrition
only jam list giving me problems lately was Menoth with Holy Zealots.... so annoying
eHaley is either eMorvahna or Kromac
eKruger will go against any gun spam (Ret, Legion, etc) with Stormwall spell

Biggest things I've learned lately for Circle

Don't press on an opponents defensive/area-control feat turn (i.e. it's ok to move away and disengage on eHaley's feat turn to come back later, even if I give up early control points)
Don't take on bricks/shield walls head on - flank
Don't jam - (except with Skinwalkers) - I rarely try to jam opponents unless I somehow have more board control

eMorvahana - attrition/assassination
eKruger - area control/objective game
Kromac - assassination

Problem for me is Circle is fairly popular and I am playing the top 3 casters that everyone knows.... But I think they are the three strongest
